Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture

Cosmetic acupuncture

has been widely used in China for many years to prevent the onset of wrinkles and facial lines.
Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture hydrates, tones up and boosts the skin’s supply of nutrients and oxygen, thus decreasing the appearance of wrinkles and blemishes.
The overall result gives you a more youthful appearance.
The face has a high number of acupuncture points.
This means that specific areas of the face can be targeted. This will in turn increase the flow of blood and energy through the skin in that area, improving skin’s appearance.
As we mature, the quantity of Qi and blood in the skin and underlying facial muscles slowly begin to decrease, causing a loss of nourishment support and moisture.
Facial Rejuvenation is an excellent alternative but not a replacement for surgery.
It is far less costly than cosmetic surgery and it is SAFE. It does not have bad side-effects or risk of disfigurement (temporary very slight bruising can occasionally occur). It cannot obviously reshape a nose or a chin. Cosmetic acupuncture is a holistic alternative to plastic surgery, Botox injections, collagen injections, and laser/chemical peels. It is one procedure for your face rather than 3 to 5 different procedures.

How does it work?
There are 57 muscles in your face that are all connected; as you age, these muscles gradually lose their tone.
Loss of tone causes the sagging, tired look we all associate with aging.
Cosmetic Acupuncture involves the use of specialised Acupuncture techniques underneath wrinkles & sagging skin, targeting areas which nourish facial muscles and skin surface.
A course of treatments increases blood circulation to the face, promoting collagen production for better muscle tone and elasticity.
This non-surgical treatment uses microcurrent in conjunction with acupuncture points to stimulate the muscles of both the face and neck.
Microcurrent are gentle wave forms that match the innate electrical activity of the body. Research has revealed microcurrent increase levels of A.T.P. (adenosine Tri-phosphate), and free amino acids in injured cells.
All of these factors can accelerate cellular repair. Acupuncture can tone up those muscles below the skin returning the face to a healthier, revitalised youthful appearance.

What is a Course of a treatment?
People between the ages of 30-40 may require 6 to 10 sessions. Those ages forty and older may require 10-15 treatments.  It is best to come once or twice a week for the first ten sessions.
After a course have been completed, a top up is recommended every several months. Maintenance treatments can prolong the result 5-10 years.
The best time to begin this treatment is in your thirties, as a prevention and to help repair or slow the aging process.
In addition to cosmetic acupuncture, herbal supplement and adjusted nutrition with personalised skin care and customized aromatherapy is prescribed.
It is important that you follow the dietary recommandation and face massage techniques prescribed to you during your course of treatment, as they are an essential contribution to the overall result. There are other benefit as well: A truly holistic treatment, cosmetic acupuncture is applied in conjunction with regular acupuncture; point used on the body will promote general health and well being as well as contributing to a younger, healthier look Anti-aging Cosmetic
Acupuncture is less expensive, healthier, and safer than the modern treatments. It's virtually risk free and there are none of the side effects of face lift surgery, lasers, and injections like numbness, scarring, possible atrophy, and lengthy recovery time.

Are there any contraindications?

Facial Acupuncture is contraindicated for some pituitary disorders, heart disorders, diabetes mellitus, Hypertension, individuals who have a pacemaker or who have a problem with bleeding or bruising. It is also contraindicated during pregnancy, and during an allergic attack or at the onset of an acute herpes attack.

Does it Hurt?

The acupuncture needles are very thin and virtually painless; they only cause a minimal discomfort when inserted; you cannot feel the microcurrent.

What about side effect?
There are no negative side effects; some people bruise slightly; these disappear in 1 to 2 days.
Your face will never look stretched, burned, puffy, or "banded". Your character remains
